saving water
Published 1 year ago in My life.Just two small things.
If you take a bucket into the shower, remember to take it out again afterwards !
And is it OK to linger longer to make sure the bucket’s full ?

I’m soooo over recycling water.
The grey water diverting is hooked up again and all I’m doing is flooding the laundry because of it. Damn, blast, bugger!!!!!
I’m nearly at the stage of not caring, I mean why should the people in the street be busting their guts making an effort when Industry and the Government (world wide) are doing sweet fanny adams.
Next time we have a decent hot day I think I’ll just put the sprinkler on and let all the kids play under it for hours.
good on yer viv. thats the spirit. im sick of humping buckets while the rain is still coming through the bloody roof. i expect youll be popular so just let us know when and we will all come round.
loved the question about staying to check if the bucket is really full, hannahgranpa! Me too on that one!
vivavoce, I’m into bucketing water also and think how very stupid I am, as I watch water flowing rapidly down the gutters from broken water mains etc….I make a conscious effort only because we’ve been forced to with full coloured photos of parched lands in rural Australia and I feel bad about the City taken water away from the Farmers.
Are we still growing cotton and rice, notorious for their water usage to produce in this sun browned land of Australia?.
well the big fella saves water i shower with a lovely lady ha ha but i save all the grey water i can get for my garden and ive saved heaps
