What do we want ?

I like the look of nook, it’s different from a Yahoo Group site but Yahoo do offer a lot of things.
How many members, how many on-line, hold a poll on-line etc.
I’ve no idea what sort of resource you need to provide this sort of thing but does nook have any plans (if so can you tell us) and do nookers want anything specific ?
How does nook admin see the site evolving or are we just an anthropological experiment ?

hannahsgranpa, you have addressed your comments to the ‘nook boys’. are you are assuming that it is only males who can operate a site like this. haven’t you even thought of the possibility that women also are now technologically literate?
Since you can’t string together a simple sentence you seem to have answered your own question.
No, that’s just being nasty. Perhaps I should have said ‘guys’ instead of boys (that should please all the women in comfortable shoes!).
Can’t wait for the answers on that.

I do try to wear comfortable shoes. especially when I’m trying to string a simple sentence together.
Glad we got over that without a sense of humour failure. But the question is serious - where does nook admin see this site going, what do nookers want the site to be ? There has already been one complaint that the site is stagnating, I’m just trying to stimulate (provoke?) a response.
Reading the above comments were quite funny because when I read your initial question I assumed it was directed to all at ADMIN and not boys in general.Anyway to get on with it, I love your question and would like to know also. I am not very good at this internet buisness so am not familiar with Yahoo but I do some online surveys for points etc;On these sites they have Polls,Forums, Links to other users etc. In defence of ADMIN I have read in various comments that they are trying to establish allot of the things you mentioned but are feeling their way around just like we are.They are trying to work out what to do and how to utalise the site better. But I agree we need to have some sort of idea as it is very confusing trying to find your responses you have left for others, trying to figure out which category you should post a comment in and also how to use the site in general
Hi hannahsgranpa - just consider me one of the boys for a sec.
I love nook and like many others don’t have a big repetoir of commputer skills, so it has been a great intro into the world of blog.
I think we could possibly improve on what we have, I know this has been said before but it does take an awefully long time for posts and comments to appear, sometimes many hours, by which time the creative and arguementative juices have stopped flowing.
Not sure whether it is the same on other sites but this seems to me to be the biggest flaw at the moment.
I would like a Rosebud theme for my nook…
Navigation of this site is not intuitive. I can’t get to where I want to be.
